RELEASING THE DEMONS wins 2016 PRISM contest in Dark Paranormal!

RELEASING THE DEMONS won first place in Dark Paranormal and finaled for Best First Book in the 2016 PRISM contest at RWA Nationals this month!

I logged into the ceremony via computer (once I finally figured out how to do it) and it was so much fun to watch! I was so nervous and I had to give an acceptance speech, and OMG, I looked like fool, but I’m so, so thrilled and honored!

I still can’t believe it!

I gave a shout out to Soul Mate and my editor because if it weren’t for them giving this story a chance, none of this would’ve happened. Not to mention my readers!!! ❤ I really love writing this series and I’m ecstatic that others enjoy reading it.

The first draft of SWEET SACRIFICE is almost finished! I can’t wait to share this story with you all, since it’s been quite an experience writing it. 😉 I should also be receiving edits on BLACK BULLET from my editor soon so I’ll be sharing sneak peeks over the next few months. So I did it.

Other than that, I’ve been working my writer-butt off on SWEET SACRIFICE in my spare time (WHAT IS SPARE? *laughs maniacally*) and I passed the 20K word mark yesterday! WOOT. I stumbled across this image on Pinterest and it’s SO PERFECT for my hero, Sebastian. Figured I’d share since it portrays the feel of the whole story flawlessly.

Yes, it’s actually Cas from Supernatural, but I DON’T CARE, I LOVE IT.
